"Pashtonism" meaning "inclination to Pashton" and "Pashton Leadership" is a word with special position in Afghanistan political culture, since there is a reflection in it carrying a fundamental destructive rule in Afghanistan political, social and cultural transitions.

Pashtonism is based on tribal Fascism with the purpose of monopolistic political, social, cultural and economical Pashton dominance in Afghanistan as well as tribal, language and cultural removal from this country, has been longing to create a great Afghanistan which is in fact great Pashtonistan with the annexation of Pakistan Northern Frontier state and Baluchestan State to Afghanistan. In truth, Pashtonists regard all lands, once were under Ahmad Shah Ebdali's military expedition as part of Great Pashtonistan.
Pashon Leadership theory consists of recognized and defined features, similar to any ideas. The Pashton leadership principle characteristics as put into action by Pashtonists are as follows:
1- Tribal dominance, superiority and exclusiveness seeking.
2- Religious, intellectual, and political prejudice and petrifaction.
3- Distortion of history and historicizing.
4- Humiliation of other tribes and nations.
5- Negative competition with Iran and anti Farsi language movement in Afghanistan.
In the past, when being related to holy prophets was regarded, Pashtons were thought to be from Sami race and Solomon's generation, but when Aryan race superiority was mooted by Europeans, specially by the Nazists and German Fascists, like the Pahlavis and PanIranists, the Pashtons raised their voice to be from Aryan race, also for submitting proof to this matter both Pashton and non Pashton researchers and writers wrote numerous articles and books which was not sufficient for them in Afghanistan, continued their efforts to aggravate tribal tensions resulting cultural, language and social differences by misusing the name of noble Pashton tribe, emphasizing to be the majority in Afghanistan. Attempts were made to set Hotakis and Ahmad Shah Dorani's (Abdali) period as the starting point, political credit, and recognition and consideration criterion for Afghanistan's thousand years national history and its ancient civilization to have a historical approval for tribal and ethnical dominance justification.
It is evident that the consequence of this historicizing process which is incompatible with historical, social and cultural events is and will be nothing but generating tensions in internal relations among the residents of Afghanistan and disagreements, negative competitions and even hostility between neighboring countries which have been sharing a common history, culture, language and religion with Afghan nation throughout history, from the Achaemanian dynasty up to now. Pashtonists' tribal, ethnical niggardliness and dominance seeking damaged the history, culture, language and civilization of Afghan nation severely and made the country remain backward.
Anyhow, Pashtonists can be traced in all, both Muslims and non Muslim political bands whose leadership and majority active members are authority seekers. According to this principle, not only Vish Zalmiyan, Afghan Mellat(Afghan nation) and People (Khalgh) wing of People's Democratic Party(Hezb Democratic Khalgh) are accused of favoring Pashtonist tendency but also Islamic parties such as Hekmatyar Islamic Pary, Mulavi Khales Islamic Party, Islamic Movement Party, Mahaz Melli Islami, Tahrik Islami Taliban, Pashto Press Societies and Great Afghanistan have displayed Pashtonists inclinations.
