KABUL, July 29 -- Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai left for Tajikistan's capital Dushanbe on Wednesday to attend a regional summit, a press release issued by his office here said.
"There is a summit among the leaders of Afghanistan, Pakistan, the host country Tajikistan and Russia during which matters relating boosting cooperation would come under discussion," the press release added.
Moreover, enhancing regional cooperation, energy and establishing a common electricity market would be discussed during the summit, the press release further said.
Karzai during his stay in Tajikistan would perform the ground breaking ceremony of Afghan embassy's building in Dushanbe, the press release further noted.
